Who we are

FairLink Limited is a company registered in Jersey (Channel Islands). We are the data controller for personal data collected through the FairLink Risk Index tool at this website. Jersey's data protection framework is governed by the Data Protection (Jersey) Law 2018, enforced by the Jersey Office of the Information Commissioner (JOIC).

What data we collect

We collect personal data only when you voluntarily submit it through the "Discuss Your Results" form on the results page. This includes:

  • Name
  • Company name
  • Email address
  • Role (if provided)

We also collect a reference to your assessment session (a randomly generated ID) so we can understand the context of your enquiry. No assessment answers are linked to your personal data.

Assessment data

The Risk Index assessment collects answers about your organisation's recruitment practices. This data is processed in your browser and on our servers to generate your results. Assessment responses are not linked to any personal information unless you choose to submit the contact form. Assessment data is held in temporary server memory and is not persisted to a database in the current version of this tool.

How we use your data

We use the personal data you provide to:

  • Respond to your enquiry about your assessment results
  • Provide information about how FairLink can support your compliance objectives

Our lawful basis for processing is legitimate interest: you have contacted us requesting information, and we process your data solely to fulfil that request.

Third-party processors

Form submissions are processed via Formspree, Inc., a US-based form handling service. Formspree acts as a data processor on our behalf. Their privacy policy is available at formspree.io/legal/privacy-policy.

We use Google Analytics to collect anonymous usage data. Google's privacy policy is available at policies.google.com/privacy.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with any other third parties.

Data retention

We retain contact form submissions for as long as necessary to respond to your enquiry and for a reasonable period afterwards in case of follow-up. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us.

Your rights

Under the Data Protection (Jersey) Law 2018, you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of your data
  • Object to or restrict our processing of your data
  • Lodge a complaint with the Jersey Office of the Information Commissioner

Cookies and analytics

We use Google Analytics to collect anonymous traffic data, including pages visited, time on site, and approximate geographic location. This helps us understand how the tool is used and improve it. Google Analytics uses cookies to distinguish unique visitors. No personally identifiable information is sent to Google Analytics.

You can opt out of Google Analytics by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on. We do not use advertising cookies or any other tracking technologies.
